I am a journalist who constantly has to record phone interviews. Today was the third time this app has glitched and not allowed me to make a phone call. I will never be using it again.

Cannot access any recordings! Last update indicated it would address this, but nothing. How can this be?! What happened to this app?

Had a problem... Contacted the developer via email and got a response in less than 23 minutes! WOW !!!

This new version wont let me play back my 160+ recordings I have made the past couple years. These guys need to test their updates and put more effort into making a functional app. Used to be a great app, but not sure what has been going on lately.

What everyone else is saying--I can see my recordings, but I cant play them. This is alarming, to say the least.

If I could give negative stars I wouldve. Im not in uSA right now so who knows if thats it, cant find any help. Cant buy the expensive minutes. Error 500 is driving me crazy. I finally learned. Check reviews B4 I buy.

You give me an upgrade that instead of fixing a non-exiting issue, actually CAUSED an issue. My old recording will not play now!

I upgraded to version 11.3 and I lost a huge number of recordings. I could not download anything, nor play any files. Yes, I should have backed up before hand, my fault..however the file format has changed, so now instead of AIFF I get .wav files, which iTunes cannot open - quick time cannot open either. There must be an extra bug because generally I can open .wav files on iTunes, so something else is wrong. A big disappointment, since I used to use this app to quickly jot down all my musical ideas.

I hold out hope that a future version can fix what this version ruined, but the realist in me has started the grieving process. Im a songwriter who used this app to vocally flesh out ideas, over the course of months or even a year or two. When I boot up the app and find that all my almost-there ideas wont play, I feel like while I thought I was immortalizing fleeting flickers of inspiration to congregate as songs, in actuality I was just corralling lambs for the slaughter. Recorder, fix this—by which I mean save/recover my old files, the outpourings of my muse for the hope of completion and professional recording—and I will give you the five-star review this app deserved before this data-destroyer of an update. But until then, know that this one in a flurry of one-star reviews accurately reflects this back-stabbing iteration of your once-great software.

What happened, guys?!? Ive been using this app for years without any problems, but I just updated and now I cant play any of my recordings. The bars that once showed blue waveforms are now solid blue. I hit play and nothing happens. Please tell me all is not lost, and that this is fixable.

I have 4 years worth of original song recordings that wont play. This has been a great app. Please help me recover the irreplaceable and restore my trust in this app and this company.

First of all, the app somehow ate credits Id bought for recording time. I had a phone interview so I bought more. Then every time I tried to use the app, it quit. I had to do the interview without recording it. Big-time fail. I wont use it again.

So I loved this app till it made all my recordings disappear. Its been almost 3 weeks - come on and fix it already! I use it for work and cant do any of the transcription I need to do.

Thanks for fixing this app. It has been one of my favorite voice recorders.

Everything is back to normal - great little program for making high quality recording

Thank you for updating the app and making the files playable again. Im sure many others are thankful for this as well.. Since a lot of people use this to jot down quick ideas for music and such. It is once again the app it should be!

Great little recorder, for those having problems with a previous bug, its fixed! I have all my notes back! Thank you! Love to put notes on a loop and play them in the background have been using this 4 years now. Very useful and many more features than the stock apple voice recorder...

Its only 99 cents but if you are planning on catching someone lying, check the laws in your state first to see whether you can record without notifying the person on the other end. MOST LIKELY you have to notify them before you can record them.

You wont be recording calls for just .99 cents. You have to purchase blocks of time for recordings. Better to spend the money up front on an honest app that does it all for the advertised price.

Do not buy this garbage!! Waist of money!
